Graduation of cylindrical measuring cups
In this example, you can observe the different phases of a glassware's graduation.
These phases are carried out by means of an electronic device, allowing to graduate precisely a volume of distilled water at 20°C.
First phase: indicate a volume of water with a line. In this example: 50 ml.
Second phase: indicate a volume of water with a line. In this example: 500 ml.
Third phase: apply a transfer, especially printed in function of the obtained distance between the two lines.
Forth phase: after a passage in the oven at a high temperature, the silver salt, which is used to apply the decal on the glass, penetrates in the surface of the glass, making the graduation indelible.
The use of other minerals makes it possible to obtain other colors.
